What's New at Kirk's Brew?
Hello boys and girls,
If you haven't been in the store recently then you haven't seen our new Brewer's Best beer ingredient packages. They boast a fantastic new look and are quite attractive on the shelf. But there's more than just a stylish new package here. Each and every recipe has been tweaked to style specifications. And to insure that they are, we have made them yeast specific. That means that no longer will one yeast rule. Each recipe is its own unique style and will be assured so by the yeast specifically strained for that particular beer. Simply put; you will make better beer. And we all like better beer.

When you talk about beer, you can't but help but to talk about hops. Now that we have put the hop shortage behind us, we are starting to see most hops prices start to fall. The pricing on the hops page does not reflect much change at this time, but soon will. As existing inventory is replaced with the new hops at the new pricing, you will see a drop in the retail price as well. Good news for everyone.
There's nothing specific to talk about at the moment if you are a wine maker, but Winexpert is always moving and shaking. Stay in touch for some summer wines that are sure to surprise.
We finally have a growler that's a real growler. It is just like the ones you get at the brew pubs. It's a half gallon screw cap brown, or amber I guess we say, and looks awesome. Like something that you would want to put beer into. Check out it out next time you're in.
One last thing for now. I will be closing the store from May 20 through May 24. Regular store hours will resume on May 25th. I'm taking a few days off. But I'll be Bach. Or Mozart. Or Beethoven. But not Wagner. Never Wagner.
